Diane has just completed six years as the Retirement Commissioner for New Zealand where she worked on building financial capability for people of all ages, retirement income policy including settings for KiwiSaver, and a monitoring role for the retirement villages sector. Prior to her time as Commissioner she was at the financial markets conduct regulator the FMA, and the Bank of New Zealand. Diane has been a regular on television, radio and print media in New Zealand and specialises in making dry subjects interesting and relevant, often with a focus on issues facing women. A regular public speaker, she has been invited to speak at OECD, industry and regulatory forums internationally across the UK, Europe, Russia, India, United States, South East Asia and Australasia.
